QUATTRO FOLIAN BALANSIO® -PALVELU TARJOAA ABBOTTIN VALTUUTTAMANA FREESTYLE LIBRE® TIEDOT OSAKSI DIABETEKSEN OMAHOITOTIETOJA KLIINISEEN KÄYTTÖÖN. 

Quattro Folia, Espoo, Suomi., 25 huhtikuuta 2018 – Quattro Folia ilmoitti tänään, että heidän Balansio -palvelu on auktorisoitu Abbottin toimesta vastaanottamaan tietoa FreeStyle LibreLinkin kautta Suomen markkinalla. Integraation tuomat mahdollisuudet käyttäjille ovat saatavilla 23. Huhtikuuta alkaen, Balansion uuden version ilmestymisen yhteydessä. 

Balansio on kokonaisvaltainen diabeteksen hoidon palvelu, joka mahdollistaa hoitoyksiköille kliinisen hoidon tarjoamisen potilaille etänä perinteisen vastaanoton ulkopuolella. 

Integraatio mahdollistaa FreeStyle Libre käyttäjien sensorointidatan automaattisen siirron LibreLink pilvipalvelun kautta suoraan Balansioon. Sensoridataa käytetään yhdessä potilaan muun Balansioon kerätyn omahoitodatan kanssa. Balansio analysoi ja korostaa automaattisesti ongelmakohdat hyödyntäen automatisoitua kliinistä analyysiä. Tämä mahdollistaa sekä potilaan että terveydenhuollonammattilaisten kohdentaa hoidolliset toimenpiteet löydettyihin ongelmiin sekä huomioida onnistuneet parannukset. 

Balansio mahdollistaa nykyaikaisen, potilaslähtöisen sekä tarpeenmukaisen diabeteshoidon, jonka avulla potilaalle voidaan tarjota hoitoa ja tukea tarvittaessa, osana arkipäiväistä elämää. Tällä tavoin pystytään saavuttamaan parempia hoitotuloksia verrattuna vastaanottokeskeiseen hoitotapaan. Balansio sopii tyyppi 1, tyyppi 2 sekä raskausdiabeteksen hoitoon. Balansio on digitaalinen palvelu (reguloitu sekä CE-merkitty lääkinnällinen laite) julkisen ja yksityisen sektorin diabeteksen hoidon tarjoajille. Balansio sisältää turvatun potilaan datasiirron sekä kommunikointikanavan potilaan ja hoitotiimin välillä. Balansio käyttää omahoitodataa auttaakseen diabeetikkoa oppimaan sekä muokkaamaan omia elämäntapoja, lääkitystä ja hoitorutiineja. Balansio tarjoaa boluslaskimen pikainsuliiniannoslaskentaan, automatisoidun basaalititraattorin oikean perusinsuliinitason löytämiseen sekä päivittäisen HbA1c -estimoinnin hoidon etenemisen seuraamiseen. Balansio on saatavilla Android sekä iOS älypuhelimille. Hoidon ammattilaisille Balansio Pro toimii verkkoselaimessa.

QUATTRO FOLIA IS AUTHORIZED BY ABBOTT TO PROVIDE FREESTYLE LIBRELINK® INTEGRATION WITH BALANSIO® SERVICE. 

Quattro Folia, Espoo, Finland., April 25, 2018 – Quattro Folia announced today that its Balansio service is authorized by Abbott to receive data from FreeStyle LibreLink in Finland. The integration is available from 23th of April along with the new Balansio release. 

Balansio is a holistic diabetes management service enabling clinics to extend professional clinical service to their patients remotely outside traditional appointments. The integration enables Balansio users using FreeStyle Libre to get their sensor data through LibreLink cloud service directly to Balansio. Received sensor data together with other holistic self-care data collected by Balansio to be analysed and highlighted by the augmented clinical intelligence enabling both the patient and the healthcare professionals to focus on the issues found and improvements achieved. 

Balansio enables modern patient-centric, need-based care model where the patient receives professional help and guidance in a timely manner as part of their everyday life. This enables better care results compared to appointment driven care model. Balansio supports type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes care. Balansio is an online service (regulated and CE marked medical device) for professional healthcare service providers and clinics to provide care for people with diabetes including secure data sharing and communication between the patient and the care team.
